Born in Springfield, Illinois, Mr. Maslauski received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1981 and his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1984. He joined Kirtland & Packard in 1987, becoming partner in 1994 and senior partner in 1998.

Steve has tried 25 cases in the Superior Courts of Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego, and thus is a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates which limits its membership to those lawyers having a minimum of 20 jury trials.

Since 2002, Mr. Maslauski has specialized in representing high net-worth individuals. Representative clients include studio executives, actors, actresses, musicians, and various entrepreneurs. These clients demand experienced trial counsel, but also require an ability to deal with the media and explore the possibility of a quick or quiet resolution of the particular dispute. Mr. Maslauski handles each case on an individual, personalized basis.

Steve offers a concierge-level quality of representation for his clients. He often is required to work side-by-side with the clients’ business manager or entertainment attorney, and prides himself on working with the clients’ team during litigation.
